THE PROCESS PAINTINGS

In 2019 and 2020, I found this process of painting on large rolls of paper and acrylic paint unbelievably freeing and a perfect place to put a lot of emotions. Being able to move my whole body and express myself as large and as far as my arm could move. It changed me and my process. What came out of me was a flood of emotions, first and foremost, fear. It is a vulnerable and messy process but simply transformative. I would sometimes video/record myself as I worked and below are just a few images of the process and some of my paintings. Some of these paintings I kept and others I simply cut up and make them into other things.
